The Embassy of Switzerland in Greece was enthousiastic to learn about the Panathenea Festival, inspired by the famous ancient Greek festival, to celebrate, connect and compete in the area of Innovation.
In order to support and promote the inaugural edition of Panathenea, the Swiss Embassy will host a special event at the Ambassador's residence in the afternoon of May 8, with the participation of high representatives from the Greek Ministry for Development, the Greek Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and the City of Athens. After a presentation of the Panathenea Festival by Lars Rasmussen, one of the co-founders of Google Maps and Mentor of the Festival, and brief contributions on the Swiss and Greek and Swiss Innovation Ecosystems, the guests will have the opportunity for networking, enjoying a light buffet with some Swiss specialities.
