George Desyllas

George Desyllas is the Founder and CEO of FlexCar, a leader who has fundamentally redefined the concept of flexible vehicle leasing and pioneered the "Car-as-a-Service" model.

Born and raised in Germany, he is a polyglot speaking five languages. While he always had a profound aptitude for finance, his professional trajectory ultimately led him to the dynamic world of startup entrepreneurship. He graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he actively served as the President of the Greek student community. Following his studies, he built a robust corporate foundation working for top-tier consulting and financial institutions in London and Dubai, including the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Goldman Sachs.

In 2018, he returned to Greece to establish FlexCar. Under his strategic direction, the company grew at an unprecedented pace, rapidly attracting record-breaking funding of over €300 million from prominent local and international investors.

Today, FlexCar has evolved from a disruptive startup into a multinational mobility powerhouse. Within just a few years, the company has multiplied its turnover and massively scaled its operations. Currently, it employs a dynamic workforce of more than 350 professionals and maintains a strong, expanding footprint across four strategic markets: Greece, Italy, Cyprus, and Mexico. Looking ahead, the overarching vision involves the continuous integration of innovative products under the “Flex” philosophy, further cementing the brand's global presence. Despite his position as CEO, the founder remains one of the team's most hands-on dealmakers, actively driving the company's international expansion.

Beyond the boardroom, he is a leader grounded in deep personal values, maintaining strong spiritual ties with the Church.
