Niko Efstathiou

Niko is a journalist, author and communications professional and the Editor-in-Chief of WIRED Greece. He has worked as Managing Editor for LiFO and a journalist and media strategist for Kathimerini, and his work has been featured on the BBC, NBC News, Al Jazeera and the International NYT. Niko also worked with the World Health Organization on global health communications during the COVID-19 pandemic and served as Editorial Director at REBORRN, and he is also the author of a national best-selling book.

Niko is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a recipient of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism Journalism Fellowship, the Google

News Lab Fellowship, and the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs Global Policy Challenge.
